The CAHS Patriots are proud to announce plans to participate in Wreaths Across America again this year. A $15.00 donation will place a wreath on the grave of a Veteran in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA or one of the other Pennsylvania National Cemeteries. Checks should be made payable to ÒWreaths Across AmericaÓ and mailed to Linda Shearer, CAHS Patriots Box 71, CAHS, 201 Falcon Drive, Connellsville, PA 15425 on or before October 28, 2009.

2009 will mark the 18th anniversary of Worcester Wreath Company donating Maine wreaths to adorn the headstones of our NationÕs veterans at Arlington National Cemetery. In addition to 10,000 wreaths destined for Virginia, Worcester Wreath will again donate 7 ceremonial wreaths to over 200 State and National cemeteries across the Country. In 2008, wreath-laying ceremonies were coordinated in 24 foreign cemeteries and aboard naval ships in all 7 seas.

In response to the many voices who wanted to share in the project, the non-profit Wreaths Across America organization was formed to expand the program by offering supporters the opportunity to sponsor a wreath. Their goal is to honor 2500 veteransÕ graves at each of the over 286 participating locations in 2008 – and to honor every veteran during the holidays.

Here at CAHS we hope to exceed what we did last year and are looking for your help. You can even designate if your wreath is being placed in honor or in memory of someone.
